Raffles Europejski Warsaw

The oldest luxury hotel in Warsaw, operating in one form or another since 1857, which in a city so comprehensively flattened and rebuilt across the twentieth century counts as something close to a miracle of continuity. The building survived the wars, endured the Communist era, and underwent a lengthy restoration before reopening under Raffles in 2018 with interiors that respect the nineteenth-century bones while adding a distinctly contemporary polish. The Long Bar, a Raffles signature transplanted from Singapore, and the Europejski Grill have quickly become fixtures of Warsaw's newly reinvigorated dining scene. 106 rooms, and a hotel that feels less restored than reawakened.
